Welcome to the Alamo Orchid Society Show & Vendor Fair!

 

Step into a world of color, fragrance, and natural beauty at the Alamo Orchid Society Show & Fair, your gateway to discovering some of the most exquisite and captivating flowers on earth. Whether you are an avid collector, a passionate gardener, or simply someone who appreciates the delicate allure of orchids, our annual fair promises something special for everyone.  Plants of all varieties will be available including orchids, tropical plants, succulents, cactus and more.

 

Registering Your Orchid for the Show

Registration runs from 9:00AM – 4:00PM. Your blooming orchids are needed to create our winning display.  See the attached information from the American Orchid Society show handbook.  For more information send us an email at alamoorchidsociety.com with Show in the subject line.

Event Details

  • September 26th Show Registration: 9:00AM – 4:00PM Judging begins at 5:00PM

  • Saturday September 27th: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Sunday September 28th: 10:00 AM – 4:00PM

  • Location: San Antonio Garden Center 3310 N. New Braunfels, San Antonio

  • Admission: Free Admission and Parking however donations are appreciated.

Our experts will be available for personalized plant advice, problem-solving for struggling orchids or any questions you may have. Sessions covering topics like repotting, mounting orchids, and more.

  • Plant Sales: Take home a dazzling variety of plants, including your favorite orchids, hard-to-find hybrids, and a variety of tropical plants, succulents, cactus and supplies.

  • Raffles & Prizes: Enter for a chance to win orchids, tropical plants, growing supplies, and more throughout the weekend.

  • Is the event indoors? Most of the fair takes place indoors, with some activities held in the outdoor garden area.

  • How can I pay for plants and supplies? We recommend bringing a little cash for small items, but most vendors accept credit/debit cards.
